Suspects released after six-year old’s death

Four people who were arrested when a six-year old boy fell to his death from a block of flats in Leeds on Tuesday evening have been released on bail. 

The victim has since been named as Liam Shackleton, and the details surrounding the tragedy remain unclear. 

Neighbours have expressed their horror at the incident and a number of tributes have been left at the scene. It seems possible that it could have been a terrible accident, given that the family lived high up in the nine-story building from where the child fell.
