Attorney General warns public over super-injunctions

Attorney General Dominic Grieve spoke on Radio 4 to warn Internet users, especially those on Twitter, that they could be punished for publishing information about celebrity super-injunctions.

75,000 discussed the story on Ryan Giggs before it was legally allowed. Grieve suggested that individuals could be vulnerable to criminal prosecution.

He did also acknowledge the difficulties for enforcement represented by the sheer volume of those breaking gagging orders, and the confusion about online publication.
