An investigation is under way after four people were killed in an explosion at a Chevron oil refinery in Pembroke, Wales.
The fatal incident happened on Thursday evening, and Chevron has announced its intention to work with the Health and Safety Executive to determine the cause. It has been described as “utterly devastating”.
The explosion occurred in a storage tank as maintenance work was in progress. Expressions of sympathy have been sent to the victims’ families.
