Alex Mcleish, who recently resigned as manager of relegated Birmingham City, is to hold talks with arch-rivals Aston Villa over their current vacancy, despite fury from the Blues fans and board.
The Scot resigned after Birmingham's relegation on the last day of the season, and such a quick move across the city would provoke furious reactions from his former club, who are already suspicious of Villa "tapping up" Mcleish, and could submit a complaint.
Other Premier League clubs currently looking for a manager include Chelsea, who have stated their intention to resolve their situation quickly.
