They sealed the achievement by bowling Australia out before lunch on the fourth day, thereby wrapping up the victory by a massive innings and 157 runs having completely outplayed their hosts again.
There is one more match remaining, in Sydney, and England will hope to maintain their form and concentration to take it and claim their first series win in Australia since 1986/87.
