Commonwealth Games in Jeopardy

Delhi's hosting of the Commonwealth Games next month is under serious threat as many national teams are considering whether to withdraw.

Scotland, Wales and England have all voiced concerns over the state of the facilities, and have asked for clarification that the Games will be able to go ahead.

This comes after reports of the living and performing areas failing to reach required standards, with dogs apparently roaming around, and homes and buildings incomplete and unsafe, causing serious worries over the athletes’ health and safety if they travel to compete.

Many star individuals have already decided to stay at home, and if entire countries decide to pull out, it will be hugely embarrassing for both the Commonwealth Games organisers and India.
